What are your earrings made of?
Our earrings are made from high-quality polymer clay, which is lightweight, durable, and comfortable to wear.

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?
We use Stainless Steel or Gold plated earring findings to ensure comfort for most sensitive ears. However, if you are particularly sensitive please let us know and we may be able to swap the findings out for something you prefer such as Titanium or other material.

Will my earrings break easily?
Polymer clay is flexible and durable, but it should be handled with care. Avoid excessive force, bending, or dropping to prevent damage. Use careful parental/adult supervision with children.

Are all items handmade?
Yes! Each piece is handcrafted, meaning slight variations in color, shape, and texture may occur, making every piece unique.

Do you accept custom orders?
Not normally…. but we may make an exception if it is a special situation and our workflow allows. Contact us at hello@charmedbywhimsy.com to discuss your ideas.

How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days before shipping. Custom orders may take longer depending on design complexity.

Can I request a rush order?
We may accommodate rush orders depending on availability. Please contact us before placing your order to confirm. Also consider upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship from?
We ship from Southern California and offer domestic shipping only.

How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary based on your location and current postal/carrier shipping times.

Do you offer local pickup?
We do not offer local pickup.

What if my package is lost or delayed?
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, but if your package is lost, please reach out, and we will assist you in filing a claim.

4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is defective.

What if my earrings arrive damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days with photos, and we will by happy to work on a solution (replacement or refund).

How do I care for my polymer clay jewelry?
To keep your jewelry in the best condition:

  • Avoid direct contact with water, lotions, or perfumes.

  • Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Clean gently with a damp cloth if needed.

Can I wear my earrings in the shower or while swimming?
No, polymer clay jewelry should not be exposed to water for extended periods.
